Revisiting Sushi Girl

Revisiting Sushi Girl

Originally featured by Teeth Magazine, Sushi Girl explored themes of ritual, presentation, and the relationship between jewelry and the body.

Drawing inspiration from the geometric forms of American Art Deco, the campaign paired sculptural sterling silver pieces with imagery that blurred the line between adornment, object, and sculpture. The photographs examined how jewelry becomes part of everyday life—not simply something worn, but something lived with.

Looking back, many of the ideas explored in Sushi Girl continue to inform our approach today. We remain interested in creating pieces that feel personal, enduring, and connected to daily ritual.

We’re grateful to Teeth Magazine for featuring the collection and helping bring the project to a wider audience.
